Meme: WWW Wednesday for September 27, 2017

The WWW Wednesday meme is currently hosted by Sam of “Taking on a World of Words”! The meme consists of 3 W questions that we are supposed to answer for each WWW Wednesday. The questions are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading:

I am in the middle of reading “Switched” by R.L. Stine. This is part of the “Fear Street” series that he produced back in the 90s. This is a reread for me actually. This is the first book that I ever remember getting as a child. I read the book fairly quickly and I wanted to reread it in time for the Halloween season, since all the “Fear Street” books somewhat fit into the theme of that season. I absolutely adore the series and I am hoping to reread several of the series over the course of October for Halloween.

Recently Finished:

I recently finished the book “The Windfall” by Diksha Basu. I reviewed it actually yesterday on here. You can read my thoughts on it! It was definitely more in the “diverse read” category that I read from time to time. I like reading through fiction about cultures, groups, and other aspects of society that I may not always interact with on my own volition.

Read Next:

I went to the library today, just browsing as I sometimes do. I came across this book while doing this. For some reason I was instantly drawn to this book. It was a case of I didn’t even read the synopsis or anything. I just felt like this was to be the book I read next. Then I got home and read the synopsis for it and realized that it was a book right up my fantasy loving alley. I am looking forward to this book so much! I almost came close to not finishing my current read to start this, but I decided I would finish it since those “Fear Street” books are pure nostalgia for me and they don’t take me that long to read at this point of my reading experience. I am, however, really really really looking forward to starting this book. I saw at the library it is a series, so I may be signing on for a bit of a long-term investment here. If I like the first book though I won’t mind being taken on a bit of a journey with this series.

Have you read any of these in the past yourself, especially tell me if you have read any of the Fablehaven series? What book are you looking forward to next? Leave a comment below answering this question and if you are book blogger leave a link to your blog below so I can check you out!
