Happy New Year!

Welcome to a NEW YEAR!! I hope this year is wonderful for every single one of you and that all of you out in the book world (readers, bloggers, authors, publishers, and anyone else connected to books) have a wonderful and prosperous new year.

I will be coming out of “HIATUS” this week. Some of the content that you can expect from me is videos, book reviews, graphic novel reviews, discussion posts, and just more focused content on showing the world who I am and what I am about! This means that while I will still be reviewing books regularly I am also going to remove the “veil” of secrecy some and start sharing aspects of my life with my readers. This could be good or this could be a bad thing, I have yet to see. It, however, feels right for what I want to be in 2018.

One of the January video series that I will be doing is called “Messy Confessions” in which I share certain aspects of my life with all of you. These will be things that I usually keep guarded to myself and it will involve stories regarding my life to date. These will be personal in nature, so sometimes I may have to actually use a trigger warning even though I am not one that likes using those. I also want to start having discussions about the books I have read, so the day after I post a review of a book I am going to post a video where I ask myself a question related to the book I just reviewed and what my answer is. Sometimes these will be playful and sometimes they will be serious based on the book. I will also ask you guys to answer what your response would be in the comments. I am playing with the idea of doing a 2 or 5 minute posting called “(Whatever minutes I go with) minutes with Cassie” where I discuss anything I want. I am still planning on doing a monthly interview with other book bloggers, which that will be sometime this month. I also plan on starting a year worth of “problematic” books as well. So I will be reading and reviewing one book that the book blogging community has deemed “problematic” for some reason to see if I agree and also to have a discussion on these topics.

This will be the first year where I have a tentative plan for my blog and I think it is going to make it a great year! I look forward to interacting with you all in this new year and it is going to be a great one!
